Summer Experience

Time: Monday–Friday | Drop-Off: 8:30 AM | Camp: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
Cost: $225/week
Add $100 if enrolling in an Intensive to cover tuition, supplies, and production costs

Week 1: June 2–6

Adventure Camp
The perfect kick-off to summer!
Campers will explore hiking, swimming, and creative movement through a fun and gentle introduction to acting and dance. A week of confidence-building, imagination, and joy.

Week 2: June 9–13

Act Up! – Summer Theatre Intensive
Led by acclaimed performer and teaching artist Brandy La Sherrill, this intensive is for young artists ready to train at a high level in musical theatre performance—acting, vocal work, and choreography.
Performance Opportunities: Participants may be selected to perform in The 21st at 21c or featured in RDT digital and print campaigns.
Cost: $225 + $100 Intensive Fee

Also Offered: Take the Stage! – Act Up! Summer Camp
For younger or less experienced campers, this theatre-themed camp mirrors the excitement of the Act Up! Intensive with age-appropriate activities in drama, song, and storytelling games.
A perfect blend of fun and theatrical discovery.

Week 3: June 16–20

Relevé – Summer Dance Intensive
A premier dance experience for committed young artists.
With instruction from RDT professionals Asya Graves, Juliana Kinamore, and A.J. Gross, and under the artistic direction of David Choate, this week includes technique classes, choreography workshops, and rehearsal for:

The 21st at 21c (June 21)
#BlackBrownandBallet Summer Festival at Washington Park (June 22)
Digital and print projects
Cost: $225 + $100 Intensive Fee

Also Offered: Center Stage – Relevé Dance Camp
This camp version of Relevé welcomes younger dancers or beginners who want a fun, dance-filled week without the pressure of performance.
Enjoy dance games, mini combos, and plenty of chances to move and groove with guidance from RDT teaching artists.

Week 4: June 23–27

Summer of Fun
End the summer with celebration!
This week blends hiking, swimming, creative play, and surprise pop-up experiences. It’s all about expression, joy, and closing out the season with new friends and unforgettable memories.

Cost: $225
(All campers follow the Adventure Camp structure this week.)
