The Gingerbread Academy is a fun, creative, and confidence-building performing arts program for children. Designed and led by professional artists from Revolution Dance Theatre, it introduces kids to the magic of the stage through dance, drama, music, and visual art — all in a nurturing, joy-filled environment.
Our goal is simple: to help every child see themselves as capable, creative, and full of possibility. Whether it’s their first time stepping on stage or their next big performance, every child leaves with new skills, new friends, and new pride in who they are.
The Experience
The Gingerbread Academy is a curated training experience designed to help young performers grow in confidence, skill, and stage presence. From the first warm-up to the final bow, every moment is crafted to celebrate creativity and nurture imagination.
Participants explore movement, storytelling, and performance technique while learning how to collaborate, express themselves, and bring ideas to life.
At the end of the program, each dancer takes the stage in the beloved Gingerbread Scene of Hot Chocolate, performing at the iconic Aronoff Center alongside Revolution Dance Theatre’s professional cast.

Tuition: $300 per child

4 2-Hour Workshops led by RDT Teaching Artists

2 Aronoff Center Rehearsals with the Full Company

Hospitality during Aronoff Center rehearsals and Performances.

Official Hot Chocolate Warmup

Participants who successfully complete the full Academy will be included in the public performances of Hot Chocolate at the Aronoff Center Dec. 19-21, 2025!
