Your Opportunity to Perform at the Aronoff Center!

Now casting area talent for the return of "Hot Chocolate" at Cincinnati's Aronoff Center for the Arts. This show provides deserving talent the opportunity to have a professional performance experience in one of the hottest concert events of the holiday season.

All cast members will be required to commit to the rehearsal and performance schedule. Many roles require weekend rehearsals. There are currently SIX performances of the show scheduled to take place from Dec. 8 - 10., 2022.

Revolution Dance Theatre is proud to return to the Aronoff Center with TWO weekends of our bestselling presentation of "David Choate's Hot Chocolate"! We are looking for skilled talent to join our cast as we prepare a new, bigger than ever experience for our audience.

"David Choate's Hot Chocolate" continues it tradition of providing several dancers, performers, singers, and crew with their first opportunity to be a part of a professional show at the Aronoff Center for the Arts.

While the show is a Ballet, dancers across many genres are encouraged to audition if interested as various roles focus on different forms of dance.

Dancers 11 and under will be seen at 6:00 p.m. while dancers 13+ should attend the 7:00 p.m. session. All dancers should arrive warm and prepared to move. The audition will consists of several combinations from the show. Some dancers may be asked to attend a call back session.

PUBLIC PERFORMANCES

Friday Dec. 1, 8:oo p.m.
Saturday Dec. 2, 2:00 p.m. & 8:oo p.m.

Friday Dec. 8, 8:00 o.m.
Saturday Dec. 9, 2:00 p.m. & 8:oo p.m.

You may be asked to perform 1 or both weekends. There are also daytime performances Tue.-Wed. Dec. 5-6 that could require time away from school/work.

REHEARSALS

Most participants can expect 1-2 rehearsals per week during the month of October, though some roles may require a 3-4 day rehearsal schedule.

We will host rehearsals on Saturdays and some Sundays in October.
