About the Show
This spring, Revolution Dance Theatre presents an evening of dance, music, and storytelling exploring the journey of becoming. The program features the return of Run, Boy, RUN, a powerful company favorite, and the world premiere of Source Material, an original contemporary ballet by David Choate inspired by the ideas at the heart of the Skye universe.
During intermission, audiences are invited to explore our facility, be the first to see the brand new mural "GROW" by Lead Artist Adoria Maxberry and take in "The Escape", our new immersive lounge.
For Act 2, experience a preview of Skye: A New World of Wonder, a new musical inspired production blending dance, theatre, and song. Developed by David Choate in collaboration with Cincinnati based author Ashley Aya Ferguson, this excerpt introduces the world of Skye and its central character, performed by Zola Horton, alongside actor Phillip Latham.
The evening concludes with the premiere of Now What?, a contemporary ballet exploring what comes after transformation, inviting audiences to consider what it means to truly step into possibility.
